About Us
Located in beautiful Dutchess County, NY, our riding facility offers year-round lessons, training, boarding, sales and leasing. Bursting with historical significance, the farm’s most noteworthy owner was Franklin Delano Roosevelt Jr. For over 35 years, the farm of the youngest son of FDR and Eleanor Roosevelt played host to many world renowned dignitaries. During the 1960s, Jacquelyn Kennedy fox hunted with FDR Jr, the then President of the Rombout Hunt Club. In the 1970s, Jacquelyn Onassis and her young teenage son John-John spent time riding at the farm.
Times have changed, and now the once 750 acre farm sits on 40 beautiful acres, surrounded by upscale homes on rolling hills. Though changes have been made, the farm still possesses its original craftsmanship and charm.
